If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I wouldn’t be standing where I am today smiling joyously. When all hell broke loose and there was nowhere to turn, it was the Lord who saved me with His righteous mighty right Hand.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I couldn’t have bore the heavy burdens of pain and terror that life threw at me. What the enemy meant for evil to destroy me, the Lord turned it around for my good as my testimony.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I wouldn’t be shouting hallelujah through the many storms and tumbling waves. When difficulties and challenges appeared, it was the Lord who shielded me and put a new song on my lips.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I couldn’t have sufficiently provided for all my needs. When uncertain and unprecedented times arose and it was a struggle financially, it was the Lord who blessed me abundantly.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I wouldn’t have been able to love again after experiencing many hurts and betrayals. When all hope seemed lost, it was the Lord who surrounded me with His gracious love. and mercy.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I wouldn’t be so full of peace and hope. When I remember that I belong to the Lord and the bliss of Heaven awaits me, I bless the Lord for saving my soul from the terrors of Hell.
If it hadn’t been for the Lord,
I couldn’t have possibly live a fulfilling and meaningful life. When my life was in pieces, it was the Lord who mended my brokenness and formed a beautiful picture of me, using all of my broken pieces.
