Although, I am hurt by the one that I least expected it from, and have every right to be,
Although, my trust is broken and I have been left to deal with the consequence,
Although, I feel the loss of my friend and I may not rekindle our friendship,
Although, hash words have been said and cannot be retracted,
Although, there has been no attempt of an apology,
Although, my heart feels broken from all the hurt and pain,
I choose to forgive because I understand that the act of Forgiveness will not only free my heart from all bitterness, anger, hatred and unforgiveness; but it will cause God’s love to rise up in me, and it will overshadow all the hurts ad pains. I choose to forgive because I am maturing to be more like Jesus!
