When I remember how challenging and unprecedented life is, and I wonder what my next move will be, I remember that there is joy in living.
When it gets dark and lonely and all seems gloomy and weary, I ponder on the up and downs of life, I remember that there is joy in living.
When all I hear is negative and discouraging and I consider how many difficult challenges life throws at me, I remember that there is joy in living.
When I am uncertain and bewildered, thinking about the meaning and essence of my life, feeling exhausted, I remember that there is Joy in living.
When it looks like there are no answers to my unending questions and though I pray and hardly understand why it is taking so long for a change, I remember that there is joy in living.
When all hope seems lost and forgotten and I think that I barely have the courage, strength and will to carry on, I remember that there is jo in living.
When everyone and everything around me seems misleading and unhelpful, and I look to the heavens wondering when Lord, I remember that there is joy in living.
NB:
The purest joy of living comes from the acknowledgement of God’s love and abiding in His perfect plans for our lives.
