Spiritual Limitations can be defined as forces both seen and unseen, which prohibits and hinders mankind’s destiny, visions, divine purposes and progress in life. In simple term, spiritual limitations are destiny destroyers. Limitations can mean restricted, resisted and restrained. These spiritual Limitations are destiny stoppers and destroyers because they cause delays, abortion of destinies and limit God’s possibilities in your life, mind and visions. Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.
The Spirit of limitation is revealed through the following ways;
1. Fear
2. Frustration
3. Anger
4. Anxiety
5. Prayerlessness
6. Doubts
7. Lack of the knowledge of God’s word.
8. Procastination
9. Distractions- lack of priority
10. Sin
The spirit of limitation is a force that must be broken, if you are to fulfill your destiny in a grand style. The Spirit of limitation cause lives to perform below capacity and it frustrates people from being all they could be. Spiritual Limitations can manifest itself through dreams, visions, thoughts, mindsets, trials, physical and spiritual attacks etc, from the enemy. John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.
The essence of Spiritual Limitations, are to destroy destinies, peace, testimonies, hope, glory and joy, as well as render mankind’s life useless, unfullling and stagnant. We must vividly strive to break the yoke of limitation and the lack of spiritual alertness in our lives, If we desire to get to where God has destined for us, and enjoy all that God has graciously prepared for us. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.

How to Overcome Spiritual Limitations:
1. Prayer and fasting
2. Faith in God and His word
3. Declaration of God’s promises and words.
4. Obedience to God and His ordinances.
5. Understanding God’s will for your life.
6. Acquiring wisdom and Knowledge through the word of God.
7. Resist fear and walk in boldness.
8. Develop a fervent relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
9. Live a holy and righteous life.
10. Renew your mindset inline with God’s word.
The responsibility of successfully and effectively overcoming the forces of spiritual limitation, does not depend on God alone, but on us as well. Although God has freely armed us with victory and power through the finished works of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary, and with His word, it becomes our responsibility to vividly implement all the tools that God has made available to us through knowledge and not ignorance. Hosea 4:6a “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. We must bear the consciousness always that the promises of God for us, are yes and amen. Having the understanding that God’s best is available to us through faith and obedience to Him, enables us to live a victorious and fruitful lives. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.
